Focus on ESG: Mitigate reputational risks and seize opportunities

How can companies succeed in positioning themselves as credible players in the increasingly important sustainability debate? How can potential risks and opportunities be identified at an early stage? How do your competitors position themselves towards ESG topics?

Climate crisis, a global pandemic and other political conflicts - society, the economy and companies are facing major challenges that are becoming even more urgent due to the consequences of global warming. Companies must face the associated questions about possible solutions - and are increasingly being judged on their ability to provide answers.

The future success of many business models will also depend on how well they succeed in combining economic and social benefits. In its "Agenda 2030" (2015), the United Nations committed to pursuing 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that address the above-mentioned and other challenges.

Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues have become very important for companies and organizations. Being aware of the associated public debates, understanding them and drawing the right conclusions from them forms a basis for companies and organizations to successfully shape and drive their own ESG strategy.
