Timo Thomann-Rompf (45) will join the UNICEPTA management board as of 1 October 2021. "As innovation leader in AI-based Media & Marketing Intelligence we want to further improve our consulting and service offer and expand our international business," says Georg Stahl, Managing Partner at UNICEPTA responsible for business development and finances. "We are very pleased that in Timo Thomann-Rompf, we have found an internationally experienced top manager and industry expert for this shared goal."
Thomann-Rompf joins UNICEPTA from Cision, where he was most recently responsible for the division Cision Insights as President and member of the executive board. His earlier roles include that of Managing Director for Germany as well as Chief Operation Officer (COO) in the US.
As of October 2021, UNICEPTA's management board team will consist of Theres Essmann, Sebastian Rohwer, Claas Sandrock, Georg Stahl and Timo Thomann-Rompf
Holger Oftring will advance the development of AI-based data analysis
As of 1 April 2021, Holger Oftring (38) will also join UNICEPTA and head IT development of AI-based data analysis. Natural Language Processing makes it possible to automatically evaluate extremely large quantities of text-based information from social media, online and print sources for trends, topics, companies, or brands.
Holger Oftring also joins UNICEPTA from Cision, where he worked since 2013. In the past four years, he was responsible for software development and AI at Cision Insights. At UNICEPTA, he will head a newly formed development team that will pool the AI expertise of UNICEPTA and Ubermetrics. Holger Oftring will report to Marc Rössler, Managing Director and Head of IT at UNICEPTA.

At the beginning of the year, UNICEPTA took over Social Intelligence company Ubermetrics. Both companies will pool their competencies and further expand AI-based intelligence platforms for communications and marketing, having a vast data pool of more than 460 million sources at their disposal.
